Study Hall is officially over for the summer, but there are options available for teens and kids to work on their skills over the summer!

Free tutoring! Get tutoring and homework help in everything from English to Algebra. For students in 4th grade and above.

Study Hall meets most Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-5:30pm.  Please check the library calendar for more information.

Study Hall will provide students with:

a) A quiet area to study in the large McKune Meeting Room.

b) Experienced tutors to help with homework questions and to improve study skills.

c) Pencils, paper, text books, calculators and other materials for students to use

d) A light snack

Your Student Must Observe the Rules of Study Hall

1. Come to Study Hall with this permission form, and sign in with the Tutor Director.

2. Bring all homework, related textbooks and supplies to Study Hall.  Some supplies will be available

for emergencies but not enough for everyone.

3. Follow the instructions of the Tutors and Tutor Director.

4. Respect other students’ need to study, and keep your voice and actions quiet.

5. Students may not leave the McKune Room and come back, or behave in a disruptive manner.

Study Hall tutors are retired teachers, university students and members of the community with experience tutoring children.

Parents are welcome to visit Study Hall and speak with library staff and tutors.

Study Hall is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.  Study Hall will NOT be held during school vacations or on holidays.

Please make sure that your student has transportation to and from the library.  Transportation will not be provided.
