Get access to databases on a variety of subjects provided by Chelsea District Library and MeL, the Michigan e-Library.

and salary information.


Family History Index

The Chelsea District Library maintains a card file of 65,000 obituaries and death records from the area. This file may be viewed at the library, or requests may be placed for copies of cards.


Genealogy

A list of resources to help you start researching your family history, including resources in the Chelsea area, across Michigan, and nationwide.


Teachers

A collection of web sites and databases that can augment sources teachers have for their classrooms. Teachers may notify the library of upcoming assignments that require library resources.


Technology

The library has more than 20 computers for public use, each with Internet access and a package of Microsoft Office programs.
